Filipa Mendes Pinto, speaker at the Fourth National Meeting of Portuguese Law Firms

The Fourth National Meeting of Portuguese Law Firms will take place on 27 May at Museu do Oriente in Lisbon. This annual event debates issues related to life and management at law firms to enable lawyers to share information.

Filipa Mendes Pinto, a founding member of FIND, will be participating in the first debate of the morning on the subject of internships and recruitment at law firms. The discussion will be moderated by Nuno Pena, a member of the Board of ASAP. João Vieira de Almeida, a partner with Vieira de Almeida & Associados and Pedro Siza Vieira, a partner with Linklaters, are also scheduled to participate.

The meeting will be opened by António Marinho Pinto, President of the Portuguese Bar Association, and closed by António Costa, Mayor of Lisbon. Other subjects to be discussed will be knowledge management and computer software, strategic management of law firms and regulation of lawyers' status and the relationship between associates and law firms.
