For the second year running, FIND will be a sponsor of the largest lawyers' rugby event, the LAWYERS CUP'10, which will be taking place on 18 September 2010 at Complexo Desportivo de Direito in Monsanto, Lisbon.
The tournament will begin at 9.45 a.m. and the game should end around 6 p.m. After the matches and trophy ceremony, there will be a tribute to Mr Coelho Ribeiro, a rugby man and former president of the Bar Association.
The LAWYERS CUP, the first rugby tournament for lawyers in Portugal, has brought together some of the country's main law firms to support the noble causes of kids' rugby schools.
Right from the start, the organisers rejected the idea of a commercial competition and preferred to create a tool for helping the many rugby schools that face great difficulties every day in taking in disadvantaged children and using the sport to give them a new life and instil the essential values they need to face often dramatic problems.
The LAWYERS CUP's essential purpose is to help those in need.
People do this by playing rugby with friends and colleagues and making fun and charity work together for a good cause.
FIND is happy to be able to attend the event once again and hopes that it will continue for many years to come!
