Filipa Mendes Pinto

Filipa co-founded FIND in January 2005, with Maria Brito de Goes.

She decided to stop practising as a Lawyer because she wanted to ally her legal expertise with the human resources area and set up a new, carefully designed project which could contribute towards greater professionalisation of the legal market in Portugal.

With a B.A. Honours degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of the Universidade Clássica in Lisbon (1986-91), she began her professional activity in September 1991, at the law firm, "J. Galvão Teles, Bleck, Pinto Leite & Associados", which later merged with "João Morais Leitão & Associados", thus creating the firm now known as "Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados" (MLGTS).

In April 1995, she was appointed Director of the Legal Department of PGA - Portugália Airlines, and remained in this position until September 2004. During this almost 10 years period, she continued to work as an Attorney, but integrated within a company.

She applies the same sense of dedication, commitment and rigour underpinning the work of an Attorney to all responsibilities that she assumes, whether professional or personal.

She is married and has three children - Pedro, Joana and Tomás. She supports the Belenenses football team and enjoys watching the game, although only as a spectator. She loves cherries, good weather and travelling. She hates smoked salmon, cold weather and traffic, but frequently serves as a taxi driver for others.

Maria Brito de Goes

Partner of FIND since January 2005.

With a B.A. Honours degree in Psychology from ISPA, in 1994, she immediately began working in the field of Social and Organisational Psychology, in particular in the Human Resources area, because she believes that people lie at the core of each project, regardless of its nature, in a constant cycle growth and evolution. She believes that professional and behavioural competencies, complemented by interpersonal relations, are the key drivers of global development.

She worked for 8 years on the management board of a Development Non-Governmental Organisation - the ISU (Institute of University Solidarity and Cooperation), where she was responsible for recruitment, selection and formation of teams for development and cooperation projects in Portugal and Africa. During a three-year period she worked as a Psychologist for a private social solidarity institution (IPSS), Ponto de Apoio à Vida (Life Support Point - PAV), where she worked in the fields of recruitment, selection and formation of a project team.

She founded FIND with Filipa Mendes Pinto, due to her conviction that this would be an innovative, differentiating and necessary project. Over the last seven years she has dedicated herself to building a relationship of trust and proximity with the market's key players, in the belief that this will be one of the pillars of FIND's development over the next seven years!

Married and with seven children, she believes that it in both the workplace and family, values of humanity, individuality and commitment are of utmost priority!

She tries to be in the right place at each moment, give time to others, and learn from the past to build the future. She can't live without taking photographs and recording unique moments.
